Prepared by Bungendore Country Butchery, Majura Valley Lamb is a true ‘paddock to plate’ operation, bringing ethically sourced, high-quality lamb to the Canberra region through sustainable farm practices.

Our goal is to strive for excellence at every step of the process. Our lambs are born and raised on our property in the Majura Valley on a 100% grass-fed diet, free of antibiotics or any hormones. Our animals are humanely raised on rich pastures and once they reach the correct weight, they travel a short distance to the closest abattoir in a small group, helping to keep stress to a minimum.

Hung for several days to absorb maximum flavour and tenderness, the lamb is then prepared by Paul Darmody of Bungendore Country Butchery, skilfully turned and sealed into meal-ready portions that fit easily into your fridge or freezer.

Half lamb pack contains: leg roast, easy carve shoulder (with oregano and basil), 11-bone rack, 8 loin chops, gluten-free sausage flavoured with rosemary, assorted BBQ chops, half lamb fry, two shanks, and dog/stock bones. $19.50 per kilo, with the maximum price being $195 (that's free lamb for boxes over 10 kg).
